Bird Construction Inc. has announced the appointment of Karyn A. Brooks as a member of its Board of Directors. Brooks will also serve on the Human Resources, Safety and Governance and Audit Committees.
Brooks retired from BCE and Bell Canada in 2014 where she was senior vice-president and controller and has been providing financial consulting services since then. She was named to the top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada in 2009.
Brooks joins other members J. Richard Bird, Paul A. Charette, D. Greg Doyle, Bonnie D. DuPont, Ian J. Boyd, Luc J. Messier, Ron D. Munkley, Paul R. Raboud and Arni C. Thorsteinson on Bird’s board.
