The July-August issue of Canadian Design and Construction Report has been posted online, and you can view it here.

You can read about the Passive House concept’s success, especially in B.C., and gain some insights from the Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) national convention in Winnipeg, including a report on the unique land-port there.

There are other worthy stories and features in this issue, including British consultant Ian Denny’s look at how to truly apply word-of-mouth marketing concepts, along with reports on precast/prestressed concrete, modular and offsite construction, the Canadian (and Alberta) painting industry associations, and Ontario General Contractors Association (OGCA)’s Ontario Builder Awards, among others.
