PCL Construction will lead delivery of a new transit-oriented rental community in Calgary, a two-tower development planned for 61st Avenue near CF Chinook Centre.

Developed in partnership with Cadillac Fairview, the project will add 490 purpose-built rental units in 20- and 19-storey towers connected by a multi-storey podium. The podium will contain additional residential units along with co-working areas, lounges, wellness facilities and outdoor public spaces. Plans also include four levels of parking and direct access to the Chinook LRT station.

“We’re proud to collaborate with Cadillac Fairview on a project that redefines urban living in Calgary,” said Jordan Clouthier, vice-president and district manager for PCL Calgary. “With extensive experience delivering residential communities across Canada, this development reflects PCL’s commitment to building connected spaces that enhance the quality of life for Calgarians.”

Cadillac Fairview officials say the development supports sustainable urban growth and strengthens connectivity in a high-demand area.

“This groundbreaking residential development in Calgary is a testament to Cadillac Fairview’s vision for creating vibrant, connected communities,” said Sal Iacono, president and CEO of Cadillac Fairview.

The Calgary project forms part of Cadillac Fairview’s broader residential strategy, which includes developments in Ottawa and the Montreal region. Construction is scheduled to begin this month, with initial occupancy expected in summer 2028.

“Cadillac Fairview has a rich and enduring legacy in Calgary, exemplified by the success of CF Chinook Centre,” said Brian Salpeter, CF’s executive vice-president of development. “The launch of our new residential building marks a significant expansion of our presence in this dynamic city.”
