As a member of the American Concrete Institute’s Alberta Chapter, it supports the Awards of Excellence in Concrete, held an- nually in May, as a way of showcasing concrete innova- tion. “We are also an important part of the Concrete Coun- cil of Canada, which was formed in September and en- compasses the full spectrum of concrete and cement manufacturing across Canada,” she says. Reschke says the council will provide a clear under- standing of concrete and how the industry can work to- gether to address today’s sustainability challenges. The association gathers in May for its Annual General Meeting and Convention. The two-day event is packed with activities for the family, includes the President’s Banquet, and Reschke says will be highlighted with su- perstar entertainment.
