CARAQUET, N.B. – AGF Olympic has launched a new three-year partnership with the Fondation de l’Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus de Caraquet, committing to a financial contribution of $5,000 annually.

The funds will be split equally between the foundation’s annual campaign and its endowment fund. The support is aimed at helping the foundation purchase essential equipment to improve patient care, comfort, and safety. Among the planned acquisitions are a specialized scale for patients in wheelchairs and new wheelchairs to enhance mobility and nutritional monitoring.

The contribution to the endowment fund is intended to bolster the foundation’s long-term sustainability, ensuring support for future generations.

For the local AGF team, the decision to support the hospital was clear.

“When it came time to choose a charitable organization, the Fondation de l’Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus was an unanimous choice,” said Andre-Philippe Gallien, AGF Group Foundation ambassador for the AGF Olympic business unit. “We chose this organization because it touches the entire population, directly or indirectly, and it is an essential service for the Acadian Peninsula.”

The partnership reflects the AGF Group Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting the communities where its teams operate, the statement says.
