TORONTO — The Canadian Concrete Expo welcomed a record 7,983 industry professionals to The International Centre in Toronto on Feb. 11–12, a 20 per cent increase over last year.

Organizers said the eighth annual event, billed as Canada’s largest trade show dedicated to concrete construction, also reached a milestone with 396 exhibitors, an expanded show floor and strong participation in live demonstrations and educational programming. More than 90 sponsors, partners and industry associations supported the show.

Attendees travelled from across Canada and several other countries, with significant participation from Quebec and Eastern Canada, reflecting the expo’s continued growth as a national and international meeting place for the concrete and construction industries.

“CCE 2026 exceeded all expectations, from the energy on the show floor to the strength of attendance in the conference sessions and live demos,” said Stuart Galloway, president of Canadian Concrete Expo. “The growth we saw this year is a clear signal that the industry is prioritizing in-person connection, hands-on product evaluation, and practical education to keep pace with evolving construction demands.”

Organizers reported record benchmarks across multiple categories:

  • Total attendance: 7,983 visitors (20 per cent year-over-year increase)
  • Exhibitors: 396 participating companies
  • Trade show growth: New highs in overall footprint and show-floor activity
  • Featured areas: Continued momentum in the Forming, Shoring and Scaffolding Pavilion and the Equipment and Product Demo Area
  • Education: 35 conference sessions, with a 39 per cent increase in conference attendance

The expanded Equipment and Product Demo Area drew steady crowds over both days, offering hands-on opportunities to test tools and equipment, compare solutions and connect directly with manufacturers on jobsite applications.

Education programming featured 35 sessions over two days, focusing on professional development, best practices and emerging trends across the concrete and construction sectors.

Planning is underway for the 2027 edition of the show, scheduled for Feb. 10–11, 2027, at The International Centre in Toronto.
