Manitoba’s government says it is spending $129.5 million on planned public school infrastructure capital projects in 2018-19, which includes new schools, major additions and renovations, infrastructure renewal and modular classrooms.

In a Sept. 13 news release, the government provided an update on seven major capital projects underway at schools across the province.

“This investment in major additions and renovations will create quality learning environments that benefit students, staff and communities,” said Education and Training Minister Kelvin Goertzen. “Many of these projects will help build capacity to handle increasing enrolment in our growing communities.”
