CMPX 2014, Canada’s national trade show for the air conditioning, heating (forced air and hydronics) hearth, plumbing, piping, refrigeration and ventilation industries, opens on Wednesday March 19 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building.
CMPX 2014 is a “sold-out” show with more than 500 exhibitors in 200,000 sq. ft. of booth space, with what show organizers describe as ” dazzling displays, exciting new products and the latest technologies.”
More than 15,000 show attendees are expected to attend the show, with highlights including a new product showcase, emerging technologies, skills centre and Learning Forum seminars. You can register at www.cmpxshow.com.

The skills centre, organized by the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI), is designed to showcase the skills and knowledge required to be a successful heating systems technician.
Over three days of the show, secondary and post-secondary students along with industry professionals will compete for bragging rights and accolades in industry-specific competitions. These events also offer hundreds of students from across Ontario the opportunity not only to cheer on their classmates as they compete but also a chance for them to learn more about the HVACR industry as they visit the various exhibitors on the trade show floor.
