New Construction Industry Ethics course requirements (both online and classroom portions) for Gold Seal certification go into effect effective Jan. 1, 2017.
The Winnipeg Construction Association (WCA) reports that Gold Seal “has allocated a total of three credits to this course (two for the online portion and one for the classroom portion). This applies to all categories and disciplines, including construction safety co-ordinators.”
“If you apply for Gold Seal prior to Dec. 31, 2016 (intern or eligible to challenge the exam) this will not affect your education credits or your application,” the WCA said earlier in the year. In a final reminder, the association said the course and fee requirements ($500) will be exempted if members apply before the Jan. 1 deadline.
